Agape Mortgage, since it’s inception in 1988, has built its reputation partly on its firm commitment to protecting consumer’s privacy. To date, we have received no complaints and have never “lost” any personal information from any consumer. This notice is provided to you as required by the Privacy of Consumer Financial Information Act and the FTC implementing regulation (16 CFR Part 313):

We collect nonpublic information about you from loan applications over the phone, over the internet, in-person, or by e-mail.
1. Our webserver does NOT automatically collect information regarding the domain or e-mail address. We only collect the e-mail addresses of those who give us their e-mail. If you do not want to receive e-mails from us in the future, please let us know.
2. Concerning Ad Servers: We do not partner with or have any special relationships with any ad server companies.
3. Concerning “Cookies”: We do not set any cookies.
4. People who supply us with their telephone numbers online will only be contacted by us (by telephone) about their mortgage application. If you do not want to be contacted by telephone, please indicate that in the “Comments” section on the application form.I
5. f you supply us with your postal address online, please realize you may receive periodic mailings from us. Please realize your address is absolutely necessary to pull your credit report. If you do not want to receive future mailings from us, either state that in the “Comments” section or do not apply online.
We do NOT sell or disclose any of the above non-public information about our current or past customers to anyone except as follows (i.e. no marketing companies).
We DO disclose non-public information to those mortgage companies (and their employees) that we may be obtaining your mortgage through. Those mortgage companies need non-public information in order to grant the final approval of your loan and fund that loan.
We DO disclose non-public information to title companies and appraisers in order for them to complete their part of the necessary documentation.
You have the right to “opt out” by not completing our online application. If you DO complete our online application, you have agreed to “not opt out,” as your non-public personal information may be shared with non-affiliated third parties that are necessary to the approval process.
We always use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving consumer data with our website. We have appropriate security measures in place at our physical location to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of your personal information.
If you feel that we need to modify or enlarge our privacy policy, you may inform us by mail, telephone, e-mail, or fax.
